Conway Area Chamber of Commerce Resources:
#ConwayToGo: The Conway Convention & Visitors Bureau launched a campaign to support small businesses while practicing social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Use hashtag #ConwayToGo to highlight local establishments that are accommodating diners with curbside takeout, home delivery, etc. during a time when restaurant dining rooms are closed or are operating at limited capacity. You can also join the Facebook group. Be sure to share your positive experience by leaving a recommendation or review of the restaurant on Facebook, Google, TripAdvisor, and Yelp.
#ShopConway: Many local retailers are offering online shopping at their stores during the pandemic, and an ordinance passed by the Conway City Council on July 6, 2020, requires the usage of face coverings to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Customers can also purchase gift cards to use later. Retailers and customers alike are encouraged to use hashtag #ShopConway to bring attention to local businesses.
COVID-19 Business Brief: The Chamber has hosted live business briefs on our Facebook page regarding COVID-19. The videos have been uploaded to a playlist on our YouTube channel. We will update as information is available. We thank City Church for the use of their facility and equipment.

PROTECTING the health of your business
Small businesses: Address your COVID-19 environment cash flow now. Here is the advice we're giving our members who are concerned about their finances.
Schedule a meeting with your lender immediately.
Ask for the following to help with your cash flow/liquidity:
- Deferred payments on loans, potentially three to six months
- Longer terms on loans
- Interest-only payments on loans
- A line of credit
The FDIC and OCC have given banks leeway. They have relaxed lending/portfolio regulations.
But before meeting, ask yourself some questions and be prepared with numbers:
What is my estimated revenue for the next six months? Be conservative.
Quantify these by showing what has happened this week if possible. Or show orders that have been cancelled. Show the impact however you can.
What are my estimated expenses for the next 6 months? Be liberal.
These expenses need to reflect your new mode of doing business (reduced payroll, lower inventory costs, etc.).
Talk to your landlord, major vendor, etc. about lowering or deferring expenses.
