He worked eighteen and a half years as COO in the manufacturing industry and sold eight patents before purchasing the Doty ERA firm in 2005. Doty has 25 years of professional experience working as an investor with builders and developers in the commercial and residential market. Community has always been important to Steve, and that is proven by having won the Circle of Light Community Service Award twice and having been nominated four times for the highly coveted award given by ERA. His give-back attitude fits right in with the ERA TEAM’s culture of community. |
Korry GarrettOwner and principal broker of
Sandstone Real Estate Group Korry Garrett made a career choice based on his relationships with people, and as he grows in his work, he continues to grow those relationships.
A principal broker at Sandstone Real Estate Group, Korry says he was first inspired by his wife, Shawnte Garrett, to tackle the business because he knew so many people and real estate would be a good fit, but a beloved colleague, Greg Hunt, ultimately showed him the way. “The funny thing is that I didn’t even like him when we first met,” Garrett said. “But God allowed our paths to cross again, and he taught me real estate, but not only that, he helped me out with life, which is one of the reasons why SREG and Korry Garrett are successes today. He used to say, ‘Someone is sitting in the shade because of a tree that someone planted a long time ago.’ I’m sitting in the shade.” As Principal Broker, Korry is responsible for training, assisting, and equipping 15 licensees with whatever tools that they may need to complete their ultimate goal, which is making clients dreams come true. In his personal time, you can find Korry actively involved with his wife Shawnte Garrett and their children Jaxen & Jersei Grey. ‘ “We get so much joy in watching them grow and they are so silly,” he said. “It’s almost like our own daily comedy show.” Korry was named to Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 in 2012, he is a Conway Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee Member, a member of Arkansas Association of Realtist, a charter member of the graduate chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated and is a good standing member of New Hope Baptist Church.
